What Students Say

I enjoyed myself and am glad that I was surrounded by such great people in the program. This was my first summer abroad and now I wished that I could have gone every year that I was eligible for. I had a blast! I had a superb time overseas in your magnificent native country. I could honestly say the four-week experience of smells, sights, sounds, tastes, and feelings does away any textbook or lecture could ever do [. . . ] Boy, oh, boy are the next batch of students going to be in a treat of a lifetime. —Brazilian Literature, Culture and the Arts, 2008

I had a wonderful time on this trip, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Coming into the program, I was really nervous that I wouldn't be able to be out of the country on my own for a month, but now that I've experienced it, I've seen that it let me grow more than I had imagined. I really learned a lot here and enjoyed myself. Travelers in Greece, 2008.

The program was wonderfully organized and all that we did (inside and outside of class) really helped me learn about St. Petersburg. It is a wonderful city and has a very interesting 300 year history. I would do this program again just to come out here and have another wonderful experience...I LOVED it.
