Fluid Mechanics
Open to majors in hydrology or the College of Engineering. Fluid properties, fluid statics, continuity and linear momentum equations for control volumes, flow of incompressible fluids in pipes, dimensional analysis and boundary-layer flows.

Prerequisite: Engineering 102 (Dynamics) OR consent of the instructor.
Civil and Environmental Engineering 198 (4 units)
Directed Group Study
GE credit: None. Technical Elective.
