Get to know Japan by experiencing its traditional and popular culture, meeting with organizations and people focused on improving communities, and making friends with your peers at Ryukoku University in Kyoto. In addition to field trips related to class projects and a choice of group outings such as hiking up Mt. Kurama, visiting a Hanshin Tigers baseball game and taking part in the Gion festival, students will have ample opportunities to explore on their own.  This is a fun way to get to know a country and its people as well as make life-long friends in California and in Japan.
