Program Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in a Summer Abroad program, you must:
- be 18 years or older
- have completed 15 accredited college units
- be a University of California student OR have permission of the instructor to enroll
- be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
- be in good disciplinary standing with your academic institution
Permission to Enroll for Non-University of California Students
UC Davis Summer Abroad welcomes students from outside the University of California system (UC - Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz). If you are not currently matriculated at a UC, you will need permission to participate in the program. To request permission, please email Summer Abroad (summer-abroad@ucdavis.edu) the information below.
- the name of your college/university
- your class level (i.e. Junior)
- your current GPA
- your major and minor
- a list of courses you have taken that are related to the program topic/courses
- the reasons you want to particpate in the program
