Transferring Grades and Ordering Transcripts
Letter Grades
The grading breakdown for each specific class is outlined in the course syllabus, included in the Program Specific Guide.
Passed/ Not Passed Option
Up to midway through the program, you may ask your instructor for permission to take the graded course on a passed/not passed basis. If you opt for Passed / Not Passed grading, the grade "P" is assigned for a grade of "C-" or higher and "NP" for a "D+" or lower. Units earned are counted in satisfaction of degree requirements but are not counted in determining your grade point average.
Transferring Grades and Ordering Transcripts
UC Davis students do not need to transfer grades, because courses taken in Summer Abroad are UC Davis courses. Grades and units are applied directly to their student records.
For non-UC Davis students, grades and units are not automatically transferred to your home institution. Grades and units are transferred only if you order a transcript from the UC Davis Office of the Registrar and have the transcript sent to the registrar’s office at your home campus.
Transcripts are ordered through the Office of the University Registrar. Transcripts cost $6.00 (or $15.00 for a rush) each. Information regarding getting a transcript is available on-line at http://registrar.ucdavis.edu/html/transcripts.html.

Viewing Your Grades
UC Davis Summer Abroad cannot tell you your grades – you will need to contact your instructor via email. However, if you have a Kerberos password, you may view your grades via the Web at sisweb.ucdavis.edu or at my.ucdavis.edu. Non-Davis students can set up access to MyUCDavis (http://my.ucdavis.edu) by visiting http://computingaccounts.ucdavis.edu and clicking on “Get your UC Davis Computing Account.” Non-Davis students will need their UCD ID to create an account (available via your Student Login).
